Technip Energies selected Emerson to provide automation for SkyNRG’s DSL-01 facility in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. The plant is planned around the hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids process, converting residual fats and greases into sustainable aviation fuel and renewable by-products.
The announced scope includes the Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control System, DeltaV Safety Instrumented System, fire-and-gas functions, AMS Device Manager and distributed CHARMs. That combination matters because a greenfield project has to coordinate process control, package integration, safety functions, commissioning data and the long-term maintenance baseline from the first design cycle.
|
