• The HIMAX X-CPU 01 is the central processing module for the HIMax safety system. It is inserted into a base plate and requires a connector board (X-CB 001 01) for Ethernet connections. The module supports redundant operation with up to 3 additional processor modules, enabling high-availability safety systems.

A: Maximum 4 processor modules per HIMax system.

• Q2: How does the fault reaction work after an ERROR STOP?

A: The processor module implements a two-strike fault response:
First ERROR STOP → Module restarts normally and switches to system operation
Second ERROR STOP → User must restart the system using the PADT after eliminating the problem
After approximately 1 minute of system operation, the fault counter resets (next error becomes "first" again)

A: The minimum safety time is ≥ 20 ms, but the actual value depends on the application, cycle time, and configured watchdog time. The safety time must be ≥ 2 × watchdog time.
